Mr. Denney - Fourth Grade

Welcome to Mr. Denney's Grade 4 Website!!

I was born and raised in the Hanford area and attended the local high schools before going to college near Santa Barbara for a bit.  I graduated from California State University, Fresno with a degree in sociology, and later earned my single subject teaching credential.  Soon thereafter I decided to teach elementary education, so I attained my multiple subjects credential.  Later, I went back to Fresno State and received my master’s degree in education along with an administrative credential.

I am married with three children, one of whom is at LHS, another is a college student at Gordon College in Massachusetts, and my eldest graduated from Harvard in 2016.  I am currently in my 25th year of teaching. This is my eleventh year with the Central Union School District, and my ninth year at R.J. Neutra.  It is very exciting to be a part of such a unique and amazing school, and I always look forward to a great year of learning and discovery.
