Mrs. Jayne Grundbrecher is a second grade teacher who can currently be found in Room 8. Mrs. Grundbrecher began working with students as a parent volunteer and later a teacher's aide at Akers Elementary School. Mrs. Grundbrecher earned her B.A. Degree in Liberal Studies and her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Fresno State University. She began her teaching career at RJ Neutra in 1989 teaching a combination 2nd/3rd grade class. She also has a Masters Degree in Education with an emphasis on Reading/Language Arts and a Reading Specialist Credential from Fresno State University in Dec. 2000. She is involved in many school activities and committees and enjoys coming to school everyday and working with students.

Jayne Tierney, who later became Grundbrecher, was born in  New York. Her family moved to San Francisco Bay Area when she was 12. She married her husband,Mitchell, in 1972. She was looking forward to being a Navy wife and traveling the world, however they joined the Navy and saw Lemoore, not the world. After spending 20 years in Lemoore it had become home and they decided to stay after Mitchell retired.

Mrs. G’s is very proud of her children Megan who lives in Seattle, Washington and works for the state as a rehabilitation counselor and trainer and Robert, an English instructor at COS Community College, who is married to Frances Bracamonte, an English teacher at Lemoore High School  Mrs G especially enjoys spending time with her grandsons, Evan and Eliot.
