It is with great excitement that we share our district's Expanded Learning Opportunity Program (ELOP) plan for the 2023-2024 school year. Your child/children is/are being invited to participate in this program, which will be offered through Kings County Office of Education.

The ELOP has two parts to the program:
a.) The program is offered after school every day until 6pm. The ELOP will be offered at Central, Stratford, and Neutra schools. Akers students will participate in the ELOP at Neutra school.
b.) Intersessions will also be offered when school is not in session throughout the school year from 7:30am to 4:30pm. All intersessions will be offered at Stratford school.

You may pick up an application from your child’s school and return as soon as possible. The application and further information can also be found below.

Space is limited in the program, and students will be placed in the program on a first come, first serve basis by grade level span. Once all spots are filled, students will be placed on a waiting list, and added to the ELOP roster as space becomes available.
