I was born and raised in the Hanford area and attended the local high schools before going to college near Santa Barbara for a bit. I graduated from California State University, Fresno with a degree in sociology, and later earned my single subject teaching credential. Soon thereafter I decided to teach elementary education, so I attained my multiple subjects credential. Later, I went back to Fresno State and received my master’s degree in education along with an administrative credential.
I am married with three children. The youngest is in college at the central coast. My middle graduated from Gordon College in Massachusetts and is currently a teacher. My eldest graduated from Harvard in 2016 and is working in finance. I am now in my 28th year of education, with this being my fourteenth year with the Central Union School District.
I very much enjoy working at Neutra, and I am thrilled to be a part of its great staff as well as working with the wonderful parents and amazing students of this school.
