Loretta Black


Mrs. Black began her educational career with Visalia Unified School District in 1996 teaching kindergarten through second grade. After nine years, she transitioned back to her hometown of Lemoore and continued teaching for LUESD. Mrs. Black has spent the last twelve years in administration as a vice principal, learning coordinator, and most recently, principal of Cinnamon Elementary School for the past eight years. She is excited to begin working with the staff, students, and families of Neutra Elementary School!

Mrs. Black graduated from California State University, Fresno with a BA in liberal studies. She earned her Master's Degree and Administrative Services Credential through California State University, Bakersfield.

Mrs. Black resides in Lemoore with her husband, Bill, and has two children; Lauren and Jacob.

  Christina Barber
Assistant Principal
Mrs. Christina Barber joined the Central Union School District in 2012 as a 4th grade teacher at Neutra Elementary School.  In 2014, Mrs. Barber moved to Central Elementary School where she taught various grade levels and held the Assistant Principal position.  As a Navy spouse, Mrs. Barber has had the opportunity to teach in a variety of grade levels across the country during her 20 years in education. She is excited to begin the 2020-2021 school year as Neutra’s assistant principal.

Mrs. Barber graduated from California State University, Fresno with a B.A. in Liberal Studies in 1997.  She earned her Multiple Subject Teaching credential in 2000.  In 2011, she earned a Master of Arts in Teaching with a reading specialization from National University. She earned her Administrative Services Credential in 2016.

Mrs. Barber resides in Hanford with her husband, Tom, and their sons, Zachary and Jacob.
